Another One Added to the Ranks?
I would just like to say what a thoroughly enjoyable weekend I had messing about in your boat. Pete is a great instructor, amiable and relaxed and carefully pointing out how to do things properly. It is so easy to forget large chunks of information just after being told it.
We were blessed with the weather and everyone got on really well together. I found that the best way to learn sailing was to stand up and do it. Sometimes I stood up and couldn't remember what to do but Pete was always there with a gentle reminder.
Competent crew next for me? Who knows? The sails still have magic in them for me.

A Superb Course with a Touch of Humour
I am really pleased to have passed, thanks for all your help. I think your course has been superb, with a nice touch of humour in places, and I have also enjoyed reading about navigation and meteorology in greater depth in the book pack you supplied. Looking at the full file I have made of the coursework modules, I feel that I have got a good amount of information that I can use as reference for refreshing my memory and passage planning etc. All I need now is to buy the boat!!

Something to Learn Even For The Experienced
I would just like to thank you both for an excellent course!! The lecture material was outstanding and the feedback and comments after each exercise very helpful. I was learning right the way through the course, even though I have worked on the water for many years. Everything associated with the course was very profesional, the presentaion of the printed and electronic material, the self testing techniques used, the interactive modules and the tuition and feedback. "Better Than Fast Track"
Thank you very much for seeing me through the course in particular your advice and help on the navigation section. I am glad that I worked via a correspondence course because it has given me a much better grounding than the fast track courses that my three other friends completed recently. They are desperately relearning everything in time for our Coastal Skipper practical course which we are taking at the end of the month.
